This edublog was designed to be a Social Studies resource for parents and students.  While there is blog capability, we will not be using it as such.  Other than the first assignment using this site, I will not be monitoring this site for communication.  To contact me, please use my district email address at mia.crumbley@sccpss.com

The page you are currently on is the home page.  Here is where you will find weekly posts (this is a post) comprised of information that pertains to the social studies classroom.  It will include quiz/test dates and basic explanation of the topics that I plan on covering that week in class.  There will also be an End of Week Update with a snapshot of the table of contents for the SS Binder (handouts and maps) and the SS Composition book (hand written assignments).  Weekend homework is to use these as guides to make sure everything is organized before beginning the new school week.

There is a page designed for each unit. These pages will include links to the various assignments,  vocabulary flashcards, video links, and slide shows that are related to that unit.  Here is an example of the format:
